The High Holidays are upon us. I see this as a time of reflection of the past year, and a feeling of renewal as we usher in the New Year. It truly is an honor to serve as the President of Temple Israel and to sit on the Bima for services, lead so skillfully by Rabbi Kaplan, Cantor Abraham, and our Gabbi, Johanna Gelb. We are so fortunate to have many exciting programs planned for this year, something for everyone!
On behalf of the Temple Israel Board of Trustees, and myself, I wish you a happy and healthy New Year. I look forward to worshipping with you for our creative and traditional Rosh Hashanah services as well as a very meaningful and spiritual Ko Nidre, and Yom Kippur services. As always, your participation is very welcome for our beautiful and musical Friday night and Shabbat services.
