Message From the President

Dear Friends,

You may have already heard that our repairs in the synagogue are coming to an end, and the building has been cleared for safety.

As a result, we are planning to reopen for in person attendance or Shabbat services starting Saturday, December 4th. We will also be reopening for in-person afternoon Minyan on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Everyone 5 years and older attending in person services will be required to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated. No exceptions will be made to the vaccination status requirement. We will keep a list of those who have provided proof of vaccination so that it will only need to be provided once. If you have provided proof already your name will automatically be placed on the list. Anyone not on the list must provide proof of vaccination upon entry to the synagogue.

Children under 5 years old will be admitted without vaccination as none is currently available, but we will look to separate those families with extra social distancing.

We will require advance reservations to attend Shabbat services. This is being done so that we can plan for appropriate social distancing.

We will continue to follow the mask protocol we established for the high holidays including requiring EVERYONE to wear masks regardless of vaccination status.

Finally, so that we can properly contract trace, we will have a sign in sheet at all services and ask that upon entry, all in attendance sign themselves in.

We will continue to revisit our policies, but as always, with all the uncertainty, anyone coming to in-person services does so at their own risk, and we please ask that anyone with any symptoms of any kind stay home. Of course, we will continue to live stream all services as we have been doing in the past.

If there are any questions or concerns, never hesitate to contact me or the Temple office. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Chanukah!
